MessageLabs is the market leader in cloud security with over 63% market share in the A/NZ market. Symantec acquired MessageLabs in 2008 because they recognised the importance of cloud security. Since 2008 Symantec has made additional investments with the expansion of the product portfolio (archiving and endpoint protection), additional datacentres across the global and more resources to support and develop the business.

MessageLabs products and services remain the same, along with additional cloud-based products being delivered to meet the needs of SMB and Enterprise customers.
